Cause and Effect and Conscious Entrepreneurship
There is an interconnected web of cause and effect all around us and we are all part of it. We are both the causes that impact other’s since we create ripples into other people’s lives who create ripples into other other people’s lives AND we are the effects since we are similarly impacted by ripples that other people put into motion.
The energetic ebbs and flows and highs and lows of life.
Matter and energy in human form, we interact.
We have impact.
Contact.
And the other is left with the remnants, the residue, of the exchange-
Slightly altered in one’s particular makeup of matter and energy-
Changed by the exchange.
Changed because always changing.
There is no barrier from this impact that we have on one another. There is no protection from this energetic exchange of the stuff of life that we transmit to each other in our organismic dance.
How can we consciously choose to participate in systems that reinforce the parts of us that we want reinforced? How can we consciously choose to co-create systems that represent the world we want to live in? How do we want to show up at work? How do we want to run our businesses?
How dead or alive is our Soul when business operates within the system of Capitalism? On the other hand…what is it like if we connect to ourselves, our authenticity, our Soul’s, and live from that place? What do our businesses look like then?
I’m not entirely sure but I think that, for me and for The Wild & Authentic Path it has something to do with Right Relationship.
We live in Right Relationship to the Grand Design through authenticity.
We contribute our authentic sound in concert, in concert, in concert, in flow. The Grand Design invites ALIVEness. The Societal Matrix demands robots. The Grand Design invites seasons. The Societal Matrix demands “labor with no life inside” (Brown, 2020). To be in Relationship to the Grand Design means to honor that we are a part of Nature, and like all things in Nature, we move through cycles- time to work, time to rest, time to play, time to sacrifice, time to show up for your moment, time to heal. We resist the demands to be in a constant state of productivity. Instead, we surrender to the wisdom of our human animal bodies. And we come alive. And we are free.
We live in Right Relationship to the Earth through reciprocity.
We understand that we live with a place, a place that- like us- is alive Herself. Not only is she alive, but so too does she keep us alive. She provides us with resources. And, in turn, we say “thank you,” and in turn, we take care of Her. We understand that when we consume consume consume and strip this place of Her resources, that we move out of alignment, and we become sick, we become depressed, we become anxious, we become lonely. We need Her to survive in order for us to survive and in order for us to know what it means to truly belong. We understand, as our Nature-based ancestors did, how to have enough. We understand when we are taking too much. We know that when we feel connected to our sense of place so our sense of being a part of the whole makes us whole.
Believing in the imagined reality of Right Relationship over consumerism, means business decisions for The Wild and Authentic Path are rooted in what I intuit is energetically aligned, not on what will make the most money. Sometimes I barter goods, services, artwork, donations- imaginations the limit. Together, we reinforce new ways (that are really old ways) of thinking about and conducting “business.”
